Ideal Quarry originally opened in 1869. It was reopened in 1992 to provide materials for the restoration of beautiful Baker City, Oregon. We now offer materials from several locations, and for the past 15 years have supplied natural stone for all types of creative projects.

Horvath Masonry, located in Mt. Shasta, California, owns and operates Ideal Quarry. In business since 1981, we supply quarry and masonry materials, build customized fireplaces, walls and stairs using traditional masonry skills, and we make functional art pieces from stone, including benches, tables and sculptures.

Horvath Masonry also designs and builds custom diamond wire saws for large-scale stone cutting.
